A few things before you go
Practical answers to help you decide if Monte Rei is right for your group
Do I need a handicap certificate?
Monte Rei requires a valid handicap certificate. Its published recommended handicaps are 28 for men and 36 for women, with exceptions at the Director of Golf’s discretion. Tell us about your group so we can check the requirements for your visit.
What should I wear on the course?
The course asks for appropriate golf clothing and golf shoes with soft spikes. Tailored shorts or trousers and collared golf shirts are suitable; the club also permits sleeveless golf attire for women.
Will our group always play together?
Tee times and group arrangements will be confirmed with your quote. Monte Rei can pair players during busy periods, and currently lists compulsory four-balls for 15 April–15 May and 15 September–15 October 2027. These are course policies, not dates for this offer.
Are all restaurants open throughout the year?
Restaurant availability is seasonal. Monte Rei’s guest information currently lists Vistas as temporarily closed, with no reopening date confirmed. We will check the dining options available during your stay.
Can you arrange club hire and different travel plans?
Tell us if you need rental clubs, a different length of stay or particular transfer arrangements. We will check availability and include any agreed charges in your quote.
